Josh Hughes sr.

Josh began racing in Florida in 1991. He has had great success. Having won over 60 races and numerous
awards throughout Florida and Georgia. He has experience in all types of cars from Go-Carts to Nascar
late models.. He has raced on numerous tracks including asphalt and dirt ovals and figure 8 tracks..

Josh got the fever when he was taken to the races as a young boy. He always had the dream of racing at
Bronson Speedway, Bronson, FL. Once he was old enough to drive he would go to the races and watch,
to take things in. Then Bronson Speedway started a purestock type division and with the help from a few
people he was on the track. He won in only his fifth start and ended up rookie of the year in 1991. Other
highlights include 18 feature wins in 1996 and 1 win in nascar late models in 1998. Won 6 of 6 in 2007 at
Lanier National Speedway.

The last few years he has had a limited racing schedule with only running a few times a year. Josh has
been racing some this year, and now is competing at Lanier Speedway. He will also be helping his son
Josh Jr. in the 2009 season. He really enjoys watching Josh Jr. progress into a racer. Josh can also
serve as a mentor for a young driver or help with an experienced team.

Josh will also be competing in the Nascar Pro-Truck division in 2010-2011....Stay tuned for updates.
